Our purpose
VerseKind is a small independent Christian Scripture publishing project. We want to help visitors read the Bible in context, pray with honesty, and carry God’s Word into ordinary life. Scripture is the source; our images, theme guides, reflections, search, and personal Bible are tools that support attentive reading.
Who is responsible
VerseKind is responsible for selecting, publishing, and maintaining this guidance. Questions and corrections can be sent to [email protected]. Our guidance is devotional and educational. It is not a replacement for Scripture itself, a local church, pastoral care, medical or mental-health care, legal advice, or other qualified professional help.
How pages are made
Scripture quotations are from the public-domain King James Version and sourced from the MIT-licensed Bible-kjv dataset. Software helps format verse images, maintain navigation, power search, and support sharing. Automation may also identify possible passages for a theme. A word match is never treated as a finished selection.
The complete visual reference library remains available to visitors. Search indexing and advertising use a deliberately smaller set maintained by VerseKind. Verse-reference pages without a passage-specific context note are intentionally marked noindex, omitted from the quality sitemap, and kept free of advertising.
What VerseKind checks
- the surrounding chapter and the identity of the speaker or audience;
- whether the passage genuinely belongs to the stated theme;
- whether the explanation respects poetry, wisdom, narrative, lament, promise, and command;
- whether an application avoids proof-texting, harmful guarantees, and blame;
- whether the page adds useful original context instead of repeating a generic template;
- whether the application remains bounded by what the passage can responsibly support.
Theme guides and verse pages
Theme guides are smaller, intentionally selected reading paths. Each one explains what the theme means in Scripture, warns against a common misreading, suggests a prayerful practice, and links to passages selected for contextual fit. Every passage in this maintained set has its own concise note identifying its setting and a bounded Christian application. Verse pages without such a note remain available as references but are kept outside search indexing and advertising.
Corrections and updates
Biblical interpretation deserves humility. If a theme, quotation, reference, image, or explanation appears wrong, email the exact page URL and a short explanation to [email protected]. We review substantive reports, correct verified errors, and update the visible review date when editorial content materially changes.
Advertising boundary
Advertisers do not choose passages, themes, conclusions, or corrections. Advertising is technically allowlisted to the homepage, maintained theme guides, About, and this editorial page. It is blocked on every noindex page and on account, sign-in, personal Bible, search, error, newsletter-status, privacy, contact, and reference pages without a maintained context note.
